Description
Our Rustic Slate Gravel falls under the category of metamorphic rocks, formed when shales and clays are put under tremendous pressure and heated inside the earth for millions of years.
Sourced from local quarries in the beautiful Celtic region of Cornwall, South West England, this Rustic Slate is graded with the biggest stone no larger than 25mm. This means that smaller sizes of 10-15mm can be found.
Colours may vary between batches due to the nature of this natural stone. When bagged, the stone generally has a covering of dust which can make the stone appear a different colour. Once the dust has washed away, the true colour of the stone will emerge.
